1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy describes how Object Weave ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and handles your information when you install and use our HubSpot Marketplace application, Simple Data Hygiene ("Service").

By connecting Simple Data Hygiene to your HubSpot instance, you consent to the practices described in this policy.

2. Information We Collect

To provide our Service, we must process information from your HubSpot account. When you authorize the OAuth connection, you grant us permission to access:

  • Contact Data: Names, email addresses, phone numbers, and job titles.
  • Company Data: Company names, domains, and associated contacts.
  • Portal Metadata: Your HubSpot portal ID and the email address of the user who authorised the connection.

We store quality scores, issue flags, and formatting change logs — not the underlying contact data itself. Your CRM data stays in HubSpot.

3. How We Use Your Information

The data accessed from HubSpot is used exclusively to:

  • Compute quality scores (A–F grades) for your contact and company records.
  • Apply formatting corrections you request (name casing, email normalization, phone formatting).
  • Detect potential duplicate records.
  • Send weekly digest emails, if you have enabled them.
  • Execute workflow actions, if you are on the Pro plan.

We do not sell your data or use it for any other purpose.

4. Data Storage and Security

Quality scores, change logs, and scan metadata are stored in encrypted databases on infrastructure we control. OAuth tokens are encrypted at rest. All API communication uses HTTPS/TLS.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following subprocessors to operate the Service:

  • Stripe — payment processing for paid plans.
  • Postmark — transactional email delivery (digest emails).
  • Redis — background job queue for scan processing.

None of these services receive your HubSpot contact data.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your quality score history and scan metadata for as long as you use the Service. If you uninstall Simple Data Hygiene from your HubSpot account, all associated data is permanently deleted from our systems within 30 days. You may request immediate deletion by contacting hello@objectweave.com.

7. Cookies

Our application uses essential cookies solely for session management. We do not use cookies for tracking or advertising purposes.

8. Your Data Protection Rights

Under UK data protection law, you have rights including:

  • Your right of access — You have the right to ask us for copies of your personal information.
  • Your right to rectification — You have the right to ask us to rectify information you think is inaccurate.
  • Your right to erasure — You have the right to ask us to erase your personal information in certain circumstances.

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us. Since our data is derived from your HubSpot account, we recommend managing your data primarily within HubSpot.

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes by posting the new policy on this page. Material changes will be communicated via email to active users.
