Getting Started
Simple Data Hygiene is a HubSpot marketplace app that automatically scans your contact and company records for quality issues, assigns an A–F grade to each record, and fixes common formatting problems like inconsistent casing and malformed phone numbers.
Install Simple Data Hygiene directly from the HubSpot Marketplace. Click the install button, grant permissions for your portal, and your first scan starts automatically. No API keys or spreadsheets required.
Yes. Simple Data Hygiene works on Free, Starter, Professional, and Enterprise HubSpot plans. Unlike HubSpot's native data quality tools, you do not need Operations Hub.
Most users are running their first scan within two minutes. There is no configuration required.
Features & Scanning
The grade evaluates name formatting, email validity, phone structure, and required field presence. An 'A' record is fully clean; an 'F' has multiple issues that need attention.
Free users can run manual scans. Starter and above get weekly automated scans with a digest email every Monday. Pro and Business plans can choose custom cadences, including daily scans.
A fix candidate is a record with formatting or validation issues that can be corrected safely, such as casing normalization, phone formatting, or domain typo correction.
Every formatting fix is logged with a full audit trail. You can review what changed and when directly inside the app.
Pricing & Plans
The Free plan is effectively a permanent trial. You get quality cards, limited manual fixes, and a scan report for up to 250 contacts. Upgrade when you want automated weekly scans and bulk fixes.
No. All plans are flat monthly pricing. We do not count records or charge overages.
Yes. Upgrade or downgrade at any time from your HubSpot account settings. Prorated billing is handled automatically.
Payments are processed through HubSpot's marketplace billing system, which supports all major credit cards.
Security & Privacy
We use HubSpot's official OAuth integration with scoped permissions. We never store contact details on our servers. All processing happens inside HubSpot's infrastructure via their APIs.
The app requests read/write access to contacts and companies so it can scan records, calculate grades, and apply formatting fixes. You review these permissions during installation.
Starter and above can export scan history and audit logs as CSV files directly from the app.
