Find Simple Data Hygiene in the HubSpot Marketplace and install with OAuth. No API keys, no configuration files.

Grant read/write access to contacts and companies. Run your first scan. Every record receives an A–F quality grade.

Open any contact record in HubSpot. See the quality card, issues list, and a one-click fix button. No manual editing needed.

Enable scheduled weekly scans. Get a Monday morning digest email. Your CRM grade keeps improving over time.


Formatting details

Names

Title-case conversion, hyphen normalization, apostrophe handling, particle preservation (van, de, von), Unicode-aware casing for international names.

Emails

Domain typo correction (gamil.com → gmail.com), lowercase normalization, Gmail dot/plus alias detection, provider-specific dedupe keys.

Phones

E.164 formatting with country context. Raw phone preserved alongside normalized value for audit trails.

Companies

Domain-based deduplication, name normalization, suffix preservation (LLC, Ltd, GmbH, etc.).
